I have been a car lover since childhood. Growing up at the drag strip with my dad in the early 70's with the smell of burning rubber and the roar of the engines I became a fan of racing. The car that always caught my interest was the Corvette. My favorite was the C2. They seemed to win often and they looked so awesome! I have followed the Corvette all these years, from the popular C3 to the somewhat plain C4, then the survival of the Vette in the 90's with the C5. I love the concept of the car, what it stands for. I love that it kicks *** with the best at half the price. I love the styling and the engineering.
And finally, after all these years, I have a Corvette!
It's a 2000, black with a Targa top.

Well, there are several smallish problems. I have been searching through the threads for a few days now. Several items have already been addressed. Tonight a friend and I replaced the leaky valve cover gaskets. I'm just knocking them out one at a time!
