I think of selling mine and then think how cool it will be with the next mod so I should keep it. Just wondering if I will run out of mods, money or time and just sell it anyways.
After 12 yrs, I just felt like I wanted to try something new. Kinda like a 7 yr itch.....u know ? Nothing wrong with my Z06 at all. I was way too OCD to allow anything to be wrong with it. I just felt it was time to move on. I thought I was going to keep it forever but I made the mistake of driving my brothers Manual 6 speed CTS-V when he was out of town for a couple weeks. Wow what a car ! I was taking my wife/son out in it and it just had everything. Comfort/Style/speed/handling/power etc.... Surprising how nimble the car is given its weight. And that LSA motor has a LOT of potential for mods. 650HP is easy without even trying hard.

I suggest you DON'T test drive one if your even at least a bit thinking of selling your car.

So far I'm really enjoying my new ride. Got wheels powder coated, tint complete, paint correction done. Already finished a few garage projects on it too like Cold air intake (should put me at 580hp range), wrapped the wood grain trim in the interior (i had never wrapped before and it was fun to learn) Replaced all the interior lights with white LED's, and replaced the headlights/fogs/DRL's with a more "white" light. Had to remove the front bumper to replace lights. That kinda sucked, but now I know how to do it. Its all about the fine details. Everything has to be right.

Its like a new girl friend. Always something new to do with it....

Thank you Wayne... Im not one to jump on mods. I research the crap out of everything. I try to anyway. Its the Engineer in me. I always try to stand back and look at the big picture before doing mods. I like to try to make sure the mod fits the big picture I'm wanting as a final goal.

Thank you Pounder... that was certainly part of this decision.

I have already had my wife/son out for a few cruises in the "family race car" .... My wife just rolls her eyes every time I say that...

I have a little Scion TC that I use daily. It does everything I ask it to do.... inexpensive transportation to and from work. I also plan to give it to my son when he turns 16.

It saves my Caddy from the daily beatings. Id rather just enjoy my nice car on weekends when I have time to cruise the open roads and meet up with my local car nut friends....

Yea I saw that a month ago. Spoken with many people who have asked me details about it. Last time I spoke with the new owner he said that he just had not had time to drive it much.
