Default please double check me on this

First time replacing tires and also want to get rid of the wagon wheels. This is for a 99 Vert.

I found this for sale and from looking at my current tire size these look like a fit and also good for one set of tires.

Am I correct there or is there something I am missing?

Thanks.

You're getting two tires only, the fronts. The age of them is as important as mileage.

And you'll need two rears, the most expensive of the set. I'd pass

You're paying a $100 a rim and $100 for cheap used fronts....still passing

Forgive my lack of knowledge - the rims seem to be in great shape - how is $100 each a bad deal? I don't really care about the tires. Are the rims the correct standard size?

Yes. There is a close up shot of both size and tread of tire but rim picture is distant.

If rims are all you care about, I doubt you'll be happy when you see them. Your call

let me add to the above statement... the wheels are not shown in close up. or mounted. they could be bent or any number of cosmetic flaws. I too would pass, very few people put Mud and Snow tires on their C5. That is what these tires are. When it comes to used wheels, I would want to see them in person and check their integrity, ( no cracks and not bent ) as these thin wall C5wheels can display when examined closely.)

I started looking for rims myself, I'm looking for ccw sp 500s. I really want to buy local so I can look at them in person and maybe even put them on a balance machine. I don't think that is a bad price if they are within driving distance you might go look. I would also keep an eye out in the parts section of forum. Good luck

I'd have to agree - unless you can physically check out the wheels and even have them checked for any problems, I'd pass.

If it is a local craigslist ad it might be worth a shot to go and look at them. If they are not bent but in fine condition, then you might offer the seller $400 for the wheels only.

By the way, the runflats that were originally on the Corvette were M&S rated. Have 4 originals still sitting in my basement.

Looks like after-market wheels. I'd pass
