The one on eBay looked like some all thread and liquid poly that you could make at home in your kitchen.
I never understood how that mount is the only thing, aside from the motor mounts, holding the drive train to the chassy. There is stupid amounts of torque. I can see that the torque isn't being applied from left to right so much but still...
i agree rob its a different set up for sure, being in Canada that hinson mount will cost be over 300 dollars.
my goals for the car are 450 whp but i have the gear out and apart and plan to replace engine mounts and trans seeing the car has 108 k km on it,
Shipping to Candida is overpriced. It is like one state away.
I would trust a solid rubber OEM style one before I would trust that one (~$50). You could try burning the rubber out of an OEM one and filling it with liquid poly if that is available in Candida.
If you don't mind more harmonics than go for a Pfadt or Hinson. Just know you will feel and hear more drive train. The OEM tranny mount has a heavy bell that cancels all noises from drivetrain. So you will feel a difference in stiffness which is good, but you will also feel difference in noise and vibration, not terrible, just you will notice it.
