Hey guys and girls. Just purchased my first and only dream car...97 C5. I'm turn 50 in Feb and finally pulled the trigger on something I've always wanted. I am literally going to pick it up after work in about 2 hours. Since then, I've joined this site and have been soaking in all the knowledge I can from you all. I just want to express how happy I am to finally own my dream car and can't wait to cruise down the country roads in it.

Congrats on getting your C5. You might want to read the stickies at the top of the page as well as those in the C5 Tech section - lots of good info in those threads.

Congrats and welcome to the Corvette Forum. This forum has been an amazing source of information, brotherhood, and fun. You will find all you need to know here as most of the issues you will have are common to the C5 and are widely documented. Part of the fun for me has been learning how to resolve issues that first appear dramatic and scary but turn out to be easily fixed. Your fellow owners have experienced lots and are willing to help you if you ask. Good luck and welcome.
