Anyone use Weathertech in their Corvette? Typically Lloyds seem to be preferred for their quality and thickness by allot owners. I realize Weathertech totally different look and appearance, but likely more durable. Was considering Weathertech's, appreciate opinion if anyone has used these. Thanks...Bob

I always use Weathertech as it always rain in my town and easy to clean dirt, dust etc. no need for vacuuming.
But the styling options of the lloyds makes it more attractive and looks legit corvette.
Basically its your preference and type of use you encounter on day to day if your car is DD. Equally your a winner. IMO
some people use their car to show it off. Its a sports car. But others use it as a multi purpose vehicle. If you do not see why many of us would never consider Weathertech, then I think Weathertech would be your best choice. IN my opinion Weathertech conjures up the idea of a work truck, driven on the build site. Not putting down your choice, you asked for opinions.. if your concern is lots of rain and dirt then its a no brainer to go with the weather tech.

The distinction between purpose of vehicles is undeniable. I agree with you. I was interested in hearing if anyone had compelling argument for Weathertech. One post says it well, if DD in messy conditions then maybe a good choice. Just couldn't visualize what they might look like in a Corvette. I have carpeted mats with Corvette logo, I'm disappointed in them as they now have that noticeable matting near clutch area from heel'n'toe. Main reason I asked about Weathertech was that. I'd much rather have plush carpeted mat.
Btw, what model Lloyds(Luxe, Ultimate) do you have? Believe Luxe are the thickest. Yours look terrific, especially with the age you say.

Its been so long I don't remember, I would have to go though a lot of receipts.. I know it was the best choice available from Lloyds at that time. also they are guaranteed for life..
The mats look excellent, especially with those seats. Where they seat jackets that replaces existing or were they custom done. If seat jackets where did you purchase. Driver seat booster looks hardly worn too. Real nice pictures.

IM my 72 years of life, and 40 years of automotive technology, I have never heard the term " seat jackets" .
MY interior is from Mid America, back then they were 900 dollars. for seven parts: seats, ebrake cover, shifter boot, console cover, door handle cover, Traction control panel surround , and grab handle. They have held up extremely well.

You knew what I meant! Seat covers, seat jackets whatever. Thanks.
no need to feel defensive, of course I knew what you meant, I just made a simple statement..no need to get your panties in a bunch.
"Whatever" another term of passive agression
Glad I was able to answer you questions.

I use Lloyds in the front and have a Weathertech cargo liner in the back. Both excellent products. If they made the floor liners for the front in gray I would probably have a set of them in the car too.
To each his own but I'm happy with the OEM mats...Still look great after 13 yrs.
The Lloyds mats trump the factory mats by a long shot.
I even have an extra set of brand new TR mats that have been in the box since my car was delivered. But use my Lloyds exclusively. How to the Lloyds mats trump factory?
1) They are plusher.
2) They cover more floor, namely on the driver side all the way to the front of the front seat. This is noticeable in the carpet wear over time.
Additionally...
I absolutely hate rubber/hard floor mats. In my trucks I run the Lund Catch-It and Catch-All floor mats which are far better than Weathertech. http://www.lundinternational.com/pro...oor+coverings#
Unfortunately, no Corvette stuff.
