They are a good daily driver tire. like a cheap version of the MPS. What is a Nitto R2? Guess I never seen or heard of that tire. Unless you mean the Nitto 555R2? Also what is "Lake a top"?

Funny...

OP
I bet if you take some air out of them they'll stick better. Other people with more than 450RW have been happy with them.

Too old school for some I guess ( Spin like a top ) old school saying .. and yes read between the lines some times , yes the Nitto 555R2s . Yes a daily driver I think might be alright they just spin way to easy might have been the cold weather it was 45% out and the 04 had been setting for 3 Hrs. I can spin them in hot weather also ,maybe my 04 is just a bad ride LOL . I backed out of the drive and gave a little gas a bam like on ice let off and gave it some more gas and spinning again finely got going .. I'm down to 28 LBS.. I giving my take on my tires I can spin them anytime I want to .. Was hoping for better..

I'm planning on ending my long standing lack of traction this spring. It's just not fun when a half inch of throttle gets you sideways. The tires I plan on have to be 19s, and will probably be 305-30 or35 NT05Rs. Good luck with your setup.

I just needed some tires at the time and these looked ok for now and just Ok for sure .. I read all the hype and well not for my 04 /Z.. After I built the 04 have as of yet to address the traction deal with the M/Ts was hoping would work for now NO. With C-6 Z power I guess I need C-6 Z tires so tubing and going with what ever they run . I have not checked into yet but I think 325/335 19s Sp2s and not cheap either , Was thinking with 450 RWHP traction not that big a deal WRONG.. Good luck yourself..

Thanks, I have to deal with 643RW, kinda much for the twice monthly ride around the tri-cities that's all the action it gets.

Its your spelling that's throwing me off not your sayings. You don't need to tub it, just run a better tire. If you really want traction stop buying street tires and expect them to hook like a drag radial. You can run a 305/35/15 Nitto NTO5R on the rear or even a Toyo R888. I made 478rwhp in my 02Z and had great traction with my Toyo R888 and love my NT05R on my 11 CTS-V.

I agree my spelling does sux and these tires sux also .. I have a set of the Nitto NT05Rs can't run all the time won't last and it might rain.. Was just looking for a good street tire . One more time I backed my 450RW/ HP 04 Z out of the driveway and just gave it some gas to get going little gas started spinning so let off gave it some more gas spinning went into 2ent gear spinning . Barely mash the gas first and 2ent spin . If driving to the 7-11 and the rear starts coming around WHAT the hell ,I run on the track I know how to drive these tires SUX..
