Well after 1 week my drivetrain is out! The harness stayed with the car and everything was in plugged! New cam, twin disc, and ported heads are in my near future!
It was a little daunting at first but it came out alright. Lloyd Elliot is porting my heads and adding larger valves etc. I also have the Torquer V2 as the cam kit from Texas speed with LS7 lifters. I went with the McLeod RST clutch for good grip street/track. Can't wait to finish it up!
Wow! I just don't have the energy any more for such projects, tired just thinking about it! Good luck with your build and looking forward to seeing it done. Best wishes!
Nice job, it's not that bad. Are you the guy with the youtube channel? I like your videos, they're fun without being over the top annoying like so many other channels. Keep it simple!

Thanks for all the support! Yes I have the you tube channel which is my name @ Cameron Matteson. I like to make videos that are indeed normal, informative, and not a waste of people's time as most are lol. Answer to the other comments is hopefully mid to high 4s to the tire all said and done. Lloyd Elliot is doing the larger valves and best port job he can do to stock 243s
If going to replace the clutch and a cam heads ECT. This is way to do it . A few big bolts unplug some stuff and lower it all to the floor. You can build it out of the car easy to get to stuff jack it back in place few plugs hose or two bam dome.. The Corvette was built to be worked on this way ,not as bad as it looks to do .. Get ready for big fun ..

The four bolts front and rear are the easy part indeed. The more complicated stuff is the electrical harness and the brakes.
What's the mileage on the car? Since you've done the work of dropping the entire drive train it might also be a good time to go ahead and go through the torque tube bushings, especially as you're anticipating higher power. Having to do them down the road would have the car right back on a lift and tackling them now would be cheap insurance.
