C5 Z06 wheels - question
I found a really cheap set of Z06 wheels that I would like to buy.
1 wheel is gun metal painted ( on the back of a spoke it's wtritten SPEEDLINE ) - this is the one I am pretty sure it is OEM. ( photo 1)
The other 3 wheels are with the spokes painted black over chrome finish. On the hub is stamped ITALY - (photo 2 )
Question - are these 3 wheels OEM , or some replicas ?
Appreciate your comments / answers.
Thank you .

The Speedline wheel is a GM OEM wheel and should also have a GM part number. The other wheels are most likely aftermarket wheels. GM never had a C5 chrome wheel as OEM, much less black paint and chrome.
Some people have said that chrome plating may weaken the wheel; if that's a true statement, I would hesitate using chrome wheels in high performance application such as track days. If you are going to plate/paint the Speedline wheel to match the others, it may be cheaper in the long run to look for a full set of OEM Z06 Speedline wheels, making sure that they are the correct Z06 sizes.
He is a reasonable fellow to deal with.

Will powdercoat all in gunmetal grey ...
Appreciate your imputs. Thank you !
Not good. Personally I would have never given a thought to purchasing them. I wouldn't take them even if they were free, much less pay for them.
