Hello
I just order these for my 2000 yellow vert
The quality is great came with foam backing and ordered the full seat foam
Received within 2 weeks of ordering
Hope to install soon as the car is in the garage for winter storage.
Stiching and leather is excellent
I paid $935 shipped for the sport seat foam, Evo seat covers and 4 pc boot kit! Will post pics as soon as I have them installed
I got mine from Interior Innovations as well, installed them about a month ago, similar to above, with a few more custom touches, including full leather. I paid about
$1150 for my set and can't get over how comfortable the new covers and foam are. Two of the pix are before and after.

I know this is an older thread but how are they holding up?
these were the exact seats i was looking at but with blue stitching.
So who are the go-to compnies for seats and foam these days? Was real excited to order some vette essentials stuff until I saw they were out of business.
Obviously you’ll get many opinions, did mine about 9 months ago, Ridies ,plus new seat foam and had a local shop do the install, all leather and great fit, into it for about 1200.00$

any competent local upholsterer should be able to re-skin and re-foam a seat.
I bought c7 seats off ebay, turned out the leather was a little more worn than the pics implied, so had a local guy redo the foam and leather (the seats were originally all red). A good upholsterer will be able to do pretty much whatever you want, and while it'll be more money than just buying skins and doing it yourself, it's well worth the cost -- seats make the interior.

I agree that your local upholstery shop is the way to go. Also JMG2, you have just about the nicest C5 interior out there.

see, I want C7 seats but was told the seating position would be much higher. At 6’3, my head is close to the ceiling in the z06 as it is. What do you think?

it's not so much higher as it is slightly closer. I don't have the car here, or I'd sit in it and give you exactly how much room is between my noggin and the roof.
I'm 6', and have no problem.
Though -ask around, there are many others in here that have used c7 seats, I'm sure someone else will chime in if you start a separate thread.
If you're really willing to spend money.. get a set of crap c7 seats off ebay, have them re-foamed and re-upholstered, I'm sure a good upholsterer can shave some thickness of the padding.
Also, the top line c7 seat, the one with the loops for the five point harness -- I believe has thinner cushions than the touring seats I have -- though obviously check on all of this.

also wanna know who did your interior leather? May need to ship my car there unless it’s a kit?

door panels and dash are apsis.
everything else is from a local guy ... I know his name, I forget the name of his company. I probably should have had him do the entire interior .. nothing against apsis, I like their work, but working with an upholsterer gives you a lot more choice (and frankly, was cheaper).
If you want I'll dig up the name, but honestly, just get someone local, it's really not rocket science.

You mind if I ask how much did it cost to get what you done completed by that local guy? I'm going to call someone to check out my interior but before I do I wanted to know what ballpark numbers i'll be working with.
