Default Tunnel Plate Question

Since it has been several months since I have been under my '04 Vert and I just do not remember.....is there a factory tunnel plate there or were these only on Z06's?

If not one there, are there provisions for one? What would I need to get to add a tunnel plate?

Thanks

Okay...good to know...thank you.
Sooo....is the OEM plate plastic or something so these aftermarket 1/4" aluminum plates are supposed to increase chassis stiffness...???

OEM plate is very thin. Just a stamped piece metal. The aftermarket plates are much thicker. Supposed to increase stiffness but I don't know the numbers.

I installed the Thermal Abs Insulated plate just for the purpose of the heat and I'm not running headers but between that and insulating the interior it made a world of difference. The tunnel doesn't get no where nearly as hot as it used to.
