I've been to the proving grounds in Yuma. If you ever get a chance, take the tour. They give rides to whomever wants one around their track. It's a blast and these guys know how to handle the car. I didn't have a camera with me at the time unfortunately. Thanks for posting the video.
Now that I look at where that track is, it's the place they closed down when they moved to Yuma. That old proving grounds is just a mile south of where I live. It's getting overgrown and looks pretty bad now. Such a waste.

Those guys are good and having a lot of fun. Wouldn't you love to do that? Without having to buy new tires every other day?
I've always wanted to learn how to do a 180 at speed.

Wouldn't you think it would be a great spot for some drag racing or car shows? Hate to see that just going to waste like you said.
I agree. Be lots a fun with tons of room. We use to meet there for a toys for tots car show around Christmas time and go to Queen Creek for the show. I'm not sure who owns it now or if they'd even let anyone on the property.
