Hi all,
wondering if any of you guys know of any aftermarket replacements for the retainer clip for the sun visor. Pretty much anytime I get on the gas pretty good the sun visors alway fly off into my face. If anyone knows of like a quick fix or something to stop this issue any advice would be much appreciated. Just the way GM designed these things there's nothing to hold them in place under extreme acceleration, kinda silly.

Here's a little trick I used until I broke down and bought an OEM replacement. I just wrapped a small piece of black electrical tape around the end of the metal rod that slips into the opening of the retainer clip and then inserted it into the clip. A couple of layers is all it takes. This provided enough grip to keep the sun visor tight in the clip. You will not notice the tape one the rod is seated in the clip.
Passenger side clip broken. Read the info in here and called the dealer yesterday. Clips are indeed the same whether left or right - dealer had one in stock. I went for it immediately - $3.38. Forum rocks!
