I can't decide on what sizes to go with for lt headers and high flow cats x pipe. My borla touring catback is 2.5, will going with a 3" x pipe to 2.5" cause a significant impact? And also can't decide what size headers... 1 3/4 seems like the optimum route for < 700 rwhp. Any thoughts?
As you didn't say anything about the car, I'm assuming it's an essentially stock LS6. I'd go 1 3/4" with 2 1/2" mid pipe. 3" may be OK, and dropping 3 mid to 2 1/2 tail is fine as the heat has reduced and thus size requirements.

Oh sorry, I put it in my profile info. It's had a camshaft, borla touring exhuast, and new valve springs and pushrods.

I think what you are planning is spot on. As for your profile;
1. Many including myself do most site viewing using a cell, not as easy (possible?) to view a profile.
2. Always better to make it easier for people to reply, 90% of people won't bother looking for your mods; just my opinion.
