Default Front Camera Mounting Locations

For those of you with touch screen head units in stalled in your C5 Vette, have you installed a front camera> If so, where did you mount the camera? I am installing a touchscreen head unit which comes with a rear camera. The head unit has a connection for a front camera. I am considering the front camera just because I can, and to address the parking lot curb thing.

I just finished with this after messing with it off and on for a few weeks.
Routed a rear camera, and a front just to do it. There's really not many places to put the front one. If you put it in the center you're likely going to scrape it. I stuck mine on the side but I'm going to swap it out with another type of camera. This one is flat mounted and non-adjustable. So it basically points straight at the ground and I can't really see what I'm looking at in context to the horizon. For the rear, this camera is great, for the front not so much.

I had mine installed on the lower part of the license plate cover.

That looks like a pretty good location.

I have been looking at this style of camera. Did not know it could not be aimed. What king of camera are you considering as a replacement?

I'm not really sure yet, but any camera that I can adjust and aim higher. I wanted one for the front just to be able to see how close the front comes to scraping on certain things. I don't need it, or plan to really use it much. Just something cool to add for the hell of it. I'll likely just get any camera that's adjustable that I can put in the same spot and fit under that crash bar. I just want to make sure it's protected and that I can point it more forward to be able to see the car/horizon as a reference.

Here's a video of mine and how it points. It's forward and aggressively down. Sure, you can see things, but nothing in context to how close it is to the car itself.
