Hello everyone I bought this 2002 corvette with 12500 miles on it. Seemed like it is still new to me and I really like it. Paid 17k for it hope I did alright. I did put a new set of tires on it and have been changing all the fluids. I am looking for a jacking system. The one I am looking at is the Quickjack system. The car has some options on it but I can't recall the packages. Thought I would take a couple pictures and show it to the forum members. Thanks Alex
Welcome to the forum and I wish you the best of luck with your virtually new car.
I used 2" x 10" lumber to get the car up in stages of approximately 2" bumps. They work very well and I use them frequently. The 90 degree edges are cut to 45 degrees and it is screwed together. I have rubber pads on the bottom to stop the ramps from slipping.
Nice work with the Vette unfortunately that Camaro may sit a bit more now, at least that is what has happened with my '72 road runner......oh and welcome to the forum you will learn a lot!

Welcome and good price you paid for the car, especially with the low mileage. Invest in a good low profile aluminum racing jack and a set of jacking pucks to lift the car without causing damage to the rocker panels. I use a set of snap in BMW jacking pucks on mine, but some of the forum vendors have similar items that you can get. I also use a set of Rhino Ramps for those times I need the car in the air for an extended period of time.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. It is an automatic which I like anyway, but it helps with the wife so she can learn to drive it too. Then if she likes it to much I might have to upgrade to another one???
Wow! Very nice find and great price for that low mileage '02, catching up on all the maintenance and any little things gets you off to a good start with your new baby. I'm sure you are going to love it. Good luck and best wishes!
