Depending on the year, a C5 weighed from a little over 3100 lbs to a little less than 3300 lbs. I prefer to have a little extra safety margin, but yes, that lift should raise the car.
Been using a 3500 lbs quick jack for over a year now. The lift is 22 inches with pucks and short blocks. I've even picked up my '03 Chevy silverado 1/2 ton single cab , long wheelbase with it with no problems. I pushed and shoved on the truck lots and stable as all get out. It's probably about 4200 lbs near empty of gas. My '03 coupe goes at 3240 dry. Probably had the truck up a half dozen times and the car up about 2 dozen times.
Was not any special on it back then. about 1200 bucks if I remember right. If you go to the Quick Jack web site they will show you how much they loaded it to test it. probably about 4 times what it's rated for.
