Default Going from staggered to square, keeping same tires?

So I just bought a set of Nitto Nt555 two weeks ago for my stock set of C5 wheels.

C5 (coupe/vert):
Front 17x8.5", 58mm offset
Rear 18x9.5" 65mm offset

Front: 245 35 R17
Rear: 275 40 R18

Heres the question, Could I buy 4 wheels :
17x8.5
18x8.5

and keep the same tires?

You could, but the tires wont fit the wheels properly and it will likely look goofy if the offsets are off. IMO, a corvette needs a much wider wheel out back than an 8.5. I have to ask, what is the purpose of wanting this particular wheel set?

Design of the wheels honestly. Either 8.5 or 10.5. I don't think 275 Nittos will go on a 10.5....no one makes a nice wheel at a decent price in 9.5 in rear like the stock size.

The 275 will fit the 8.5" wheel no better than it will fit the 10.5" wheel. Save up a little longer and do it right the first time to avoid future headaches

Yeah, my vote is to keep your current setup. Take the money and buy other mods until the tires burn off. You don't buy wheels to fit tires, you buy tires to fit wheels.
