How can you drive the car and not worry that the drone got lost, or went down, or took off after something else? Is there a way to know that it's still following you? Do you see the video on a monitor?
How long can it fly before the battery dies?
One of my friends bought a DJI Phantom 4 for a senior project his kid is doing and his has obstacle avoidance, etc. I get to try it in a week or two following me road cycling so that will be a trip! Looks like it definetley could be addicting.
Been flying DJI P2V+ which is ready to die.... batteries wasted. Problem is the antenna upgrade is for 1.8+ Miles. Been looking at the Mavic to replace but need to check the distance. The new features such as follow me are well worth it!
Thanks for showing me. Quick Ques.... how long is battery life with Mavic?

I get about 24 mins out of each battery. The claimed distance it's suppose to be able to go it like 4 miles I believe. Thanks everyone
Thanks guys. The speed ranges on all of them. Mine does 40 I've had it to 43. They have drones that go over 50mph some over 60mph and over 100mph you just have to decide what works best for you. I tend to like the video quality better and some of the fast drones don't take good video or have some of the smart features.
A bit off topic, but I have been looking at adding one of these to my video arsenal for professional use.
Do you happen to know what licensing is required in the city limits and what do you do about Liability Insurance - especially when SkyNet assumes control and turns them on humans - is there a special insurance category/provider?
I had to register with the FAA which was like 5 bucks for three years. If you have State Farm you can insure it through them. USAA doesn't offer insurance at the moment but their looking into from what I understand. But I know that it's federal law to register with the FAA if your drone weighs so much. If you plan on using it for business you have to take a test from what I was reading but I'm not sure if it applies to photography

Great video. Thanks.
If governments could tax the air we breathe they would do it.

Which one is it ?????
Mine is a C Wing spoiler. Honestly I would just get the real Caravaggio spoiler. I like the C Wing but it doesn't have the best fit. Mines been adjusted several times just to get it decent looking on the car.
