I have a cavviggo spoiler I'm going to have painted. I ordered light tarnished silver 67/wa994L machine silver is the 04z color...well I sprayed a little on the test card and it looks off...
Is there a different color?
Are you having a shop paint it? If you are let them figure it out.
You are going to love it, here is mine after my friend painted it. They took the gas filler cover off to match it, I think the tint codes are in the glovebox and a good shop can tint it to match. My car is an 01 and it is perfect.....looks factory.

Wow! that looks perfect...I'm having a shop paint it....I'm just wondering why the color is so off?
Not my expertise about color but my car was at the mechanic when I had it painted so I took a pic of tint codes for the body shop and brought them the filler cover to match it.
I can't say enough about the fit, mine was used and it fit so good when I placed it on the back of the car with just remnants of the double sided tape it practically stuck on.
Good luck
Ps I think these spoilers look best on the FRC and Verts. JMHO

Yes, the test paint does look darker than the paint on the rear fascia. I would do as recommended above and take something like the gas filler cover, front license plate cover (if you have it), etc, and let a body shop match it.
