My ZO6 came with an aftermarket hood the PO stated was "Carbon Fiber" which by the weight seems correct. I've seen a similar hood made by MCM but not sure if my hood is one or not. Can anyone tell by the attached pictures if it is a MCM?
Mine is the non-supercharged, exposed carbon fiber hood.
Hmmmmm, hard to tell, but I do see a couple of slight differences. Here are some pics of mine for reference as well.
I think they are about as rare as chicken lips.
I'd be curious to know how many were produced.
Not a Tiger Shark. The OP's hood (if it IS carbon fiber), is either an original MCM or the replica made by Anderson Composites. If it is fiberglass, it could be the Eckler's replica.

Just looking at the underside of the hood, it does not look like an MCM hood. Their good had a much smoother, finished look to the indented portions in the center of the hood. At least the one I had did. Don't know why anyone would paint over that area too since it was a nice CF section that looked great with just some clear.

I'd say the paint job is fair. Why they painted the under side only the PO would know for sure. There are a number of rock chips, it's a track car along with street use, so I might repaint it down the road.
Stock hood vs carbon fiber is not a huge weight differnece and that is not a MCM unless someone decided to take the best aftermarket hood and screw it up...Sorry OP no disrespect

around 1200 standard MCM hoods and around 600 S/C high rise MCM hoods were originally produced...Stu of Stuzvette got the first MCM S/C high rise hood...
Here's my S/C high rise "Childish on a street car/looks like crap out of proportion" high rise MCM hood...
Anderson's or Eckler's. It looks like an MCM, but the wierd clearance spot on the back side, the lack of the piece that holds the screen on the opening, and the awful finish job on the bottom tells me it isn't.
It looks great from above though, how is the fit and finish?
