My driver's side headlight has been acting up, and I have been reading on here about replacing the headlight motor gear with the brass gear and T bracket.
I looked at the headlight motor today when I was in the garage, and the electric motor is loose from the gear area... Only on the left side motor, the right side motor is not loose...
If I grab the electric motor (red arrow) it is loose (the rest of the motor (yellow arrow) does not move...
Do I need to replace the whole motor? or is there a way to address the looseness when replacing the gear?
