Default alignment

when ever putting a cold air on any car, fully assemble the cold air on the car with clamps snug but allow for some adjustment. then go back and adjust and tighten as needed. on the c5 vette push down on the air bridge until the pins seat as needed then tighten, have patience, it will fit.

Thanks. I've read conflicting posts, some say K&N solutions work fine, other say Blackwing is a synthetic material while K&N uses cotton and the K&N charging solution could damage the Blackwing filter. I trust Simple Green to clean the Blackwing filter, but still want an expert who can tell me if I can use the K&N oil to charge the Blackwing filter, or if some other off the shelf oil is better.

They make their own charge kit. As if it the same as K&N I'm not sure.
