Default Nitto tires - NT05

Hey folks in the past on my Mustang Cobra it was well known that Nitto brand tires (at least the drag radial) ran about half an inch narrower than other brand tires in the same width. I'm considering a pair of the NT05s in the stock size for the rear and just want to make sure they measure the standard width and not narrower? I did just buy a pair of NT555 G2s for the front in 275 and they look pretty wide, but the car had stupid 255/45 tires on the front which are completely wrong so I can't measure to compare them. Thanks for any insight on the NT05!

I run NT05s in stock size on the rear, and they fit fine. Definitely not stretched.

Is the rim protected well enough? I noticed the stock 295/35 Eagle F1 Supercar tires on mine right now have no rim protection and don't stick out from the rim enough in my opinion. Any chance you could put a pick on here for me of your rear tire?

Been running them in 275/295's since I got mine 5 years ago. They fit great imo, they also have great rim lip protection. Excellent tire for the money. I'm averaging around 10k out of them, works out really well for me because I only average 3k miles a year on the car.
