Default Master clutch cylinder

cylinder so I got the MC from Oriellys and it only has the resevor hose. Will I be able to disconnect the hose off the slave cylinder to connect it to the MC? I was planning on doing a bench bleed so as to have to bleed the system at the SC

Well the decision has been made for you. After you remove the existing MC it should be easier to remove the rest of the hose with the quick disconnect fitting. Put the hose on the new MC and bench bleed it. It will pop right on now. (They actually quickly connect)

The master cylinder is one item I get a real GM part. Just from info I've picked up over the years. I'm putting one on myself right now as part of the clutch swap. Personally I'd return the one you have and get the GM part.

I did notice aftermarket parts usually don't come as a complete unit. You have to use your old reservoir and pressure line. GM comes as a complete unit which I think would make install better and bench bleed easier. I think your advice is good given the trouble it takes. I know GM is about 4 times the cost but probably worth it. Just hoping that's the problem. While under the car I can't see any leakage and I haven't had to add any fluid so I don't think the slave is leaking. Thanks for your help
