Is it really that simple?
To remove the C5 seats, just remove the front black covers, unscrew the front and then back screws, disconnect the power and carefully pull out? I watched a video on you-tube, and that's what they showed!
Just need the right tools, is it that simple?

if it's power run the seat all the way up, a lot easier to work on the seat if that is what your doing !!!

It also helps to remove the top, to get the seats out.

It's not hard at all. I would recommend you have the steering wheel all the way forward (if you have the telescoping wheel) and you place a blanket over the door sill area to prevent any possible scratches.

Just a couple of thoughts.. Yes its 4 nuts and a power cord. One trick is to remove the power cord last.
1. run the seat all the way back to remove the front nut cover, then remove the 2 nuts.
2. run the seat forward and remove the two rear nuts. ( no covers. )
3. reposition the seat in the center of the seat rails. ( to make the smallest foot print for removal )
3. if you can, remove the top ( Targa ) or lower the top, ( Vert ). it will make things easier to remove and reinstall
4.
VERY Important !!!! make sure you cover your rocker panels. ( those seat rails are very sharp )

And just to cover all of the potential liability claims, DO NOT attempt the seat removal while the car is in motion.

The hardest part is unplugging the power connectors.

To all of you, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. At the end of the month, I'll be taking them out to give to an experienced upholsterer to fix the rocking issue and put on the new jute pad, new foam and new leather, can't wait.
You guys are great!
