Question for those with vanity plates...
If your state does not require a front plate do you install it anyway?

Yuck, even if I was in a state that you had to have 2 plates on it I wouldn't.

I don't have vanity plates.
My state requires two plates.
I do not have a front plate.

I have vanity plates. My state requires two. I only mounted the rear. I've owned the car for something like 6 years so far without any hassle.

If my state did not require a front plate, no way would I put one on the car. But since they do, the plate is on the car.

If a state does not require a front plate then they most likely don't issue 2 plates. In Oregon we are a two plate state and I have yet to ever see a Vette with a front plate on it.

Why give the police a reason to stop you. Cities need money to pay those fat politicians' salaries.

I'm in Kansas Too !!
I don't install my personalized plates on front... I think it detracts from
the car's looks.
