Still miss my old Camaro as well, and I agree one of the best looking muscle cars out there.

Go for it. You only live once. I've sold two cars that I wish I could have back, so if you have a chance to get yours, do it! C5's are a dime a dozen. You can always get a better one down the road.

I loved my 69 Camaro, but would NEVER trade my C 5 for any of them !!! The C 5 does everything ten times better !!!(if not 20) !!!

I had these two at the same time. Newly married. Wife drove the 69 Pace Car and I drove the 69 Z28. Got rid of both at same time for a "family" car. (and the previous owner put the "zoomies" on the Z, not my idea !!)

I would like to have the Pace Car back of the two

I daily drive my truck so the lack of refinement in the driving characteristics of the 68 Camaro arent a real issue. I would never drive it more than 50 miles at a stretch. I can afford to keep the C5 and buy the Camaro but the wife would have a stroke. I have a boat, 6 motorcycles and 2 cars already. LOL She wont tolerate another car. C5s will always be available for just a handful of dollars but the 1st gen F bodies are skyrocketing in price. Gotta move now or possibly never have the opportunity again.

Crosis-

Ah, now I understand! At one time I had 3 motorcycles and 2 cars. Makes for a crowded garage, and tons of insurance.

Good luck with finding a perfect Camaro to work on!
