The vette turned over slow, then turned normally, and started.
This happened twice yesterday.
Today the same thing except, it just clicked, then turned over and started.
I remember a few years ago with my pickup, the battery died with no warning, and left me stranded at the bank.
Had to have it towed home.
When I returned home with the Vette today,I let it sit for a couple of hours, and when I turned on the key, the dic read "LOW VOLTAGE, 5.5 VOLTS."
The car wouldn't start.
Time for a new battery.
I will pick one up at napa tomorrow.
My question is, once the new battery is in, do I have to reset, or program everything, including the key fob?

You may have to reset the radio stations and if you have the radio's theft lock activated, hopefully you have the access code to unlock it. That should be about it.
Thanks for all the replies.
The car never sits idle for very long.
It is my daily driver, and it gets used every day except rainy days, or the threat of rain.
The new battery did not solve the problem.
Guess I need to get under the car and check out the starter.
Is the solenoid able to be removed from the starter, or is it all one unit?
I'M thinking it might be the solenoid causing the problem.
There are only 6 things that could cause this, and with the new battery, only 5 left to check.
The starter, starter solenoid, cables, ignition switch, and neutral safety switch
Has to be one of them.
I hate screwing with starters.
They are a bitch to remove.
