Default Help with my exhaust

I have a Corsa Xtreme axelback exhaust, got it new and installed a year ago, it sounds great, but it has a rattling sound when you rev the car, it sounds awful, when I got my car inspected the guy thought one of the belts was going bad, but it's from my exhaust, took it to a muffler shop and they said there isn't anything they can do, just get with the manufacturer, On Corsa's website, it said if there is a defect or welded in any way or not installed by a authorized dealer, my warranty is voided. I cannot afford to purchase a new exhaust anytime soon, please help thanks

Is there any chance you can post a video clip of it making that noise?

Were you able to get under there and take a look to make sure everything was/is still bolted up nice and snug? Maybe a bolt is loose and making the noise?

That's just horse $hit customer service if you ask me... Really disappointed in Corsa to hear that. It's not rocket science, it's a flippin' exhaust.

Post a video if you can.

I would call the vendor you purchased from and see if they could get Corsa to make it wright.

You also need to make sure no one has poked a rock or something down in your exhaust.

That would be a good guess. I agree with contacting the vendor you bought the exhaust from and see if they can help you out. As said, it's not that difficult to install an exhaust and seems strange that they require you to use an authorized dealer to do the work.

From what you wrote, it is not apparent that you've attempted to contact Corsa. Unless they have been modified Corsa should back the warranty. Give them a call.

I bought it from Maryland Speed, I guess it won't hurt to contact them.

The exhaust has been cut and welded, one of the pipes was angled and not lined up properly, took it to a muffler shop to see what they could do.

Maybe take the offending muffler off and see what, if anything, comes out the end. You think maybe a catalytic converter may be breaking apart and a piece of that is stuck in the muffler?

Maybe I shouldn't say a rattling sound, it is the tone that the muffler makes when i de-accelerate maybe I should get someone to rev the car and I get under the back of the car and listen.

When I get off mine it makes a popping/gurgling sound that some make. I'm told an x pipe will remedy that. Is that what you're hearing?

My "cat" back exhaust cost me 80$, sounds better than the 1k exhausts out there. No problems either. Sounds like you have bad internals on a muffler, bad resonator (if it has one), or a bad cat which i would get fixed immediately, cats can break apart and possibly get its way back to the engine.
