The Europeans have built some decent hatch back sports cars - the Volvo P1800, Scimitar GTE, and there were aftermarket XJS conversions (by Lynx) and even Aston Martins. Plus the Ferrari FF for that matter. But none of them had an ugly '50's back stuck end on a '90's car. Yuk.
I've seem more than my share of useless and unnecessary mods on this site. I would label this one interesting. Likely wrecked in the back and repaired with "custom" mail order parts. Although I wouldn't do that to my C5, it reminds me of a Mako conversion someone started on a 1969 Corvette that I purchased for $500 and finished. When it was all done I realized it would have been better to part out the C3 than perform an abortion like that.
PSA. If you have that much extra money laying around that you're considering throwing it away on something like this, PM me and I'll send you my address. Will gladly take it off your hands.
