Cleaning the Hood Liner
Hey Guys,
Can anyone share their tips or video of how to clean the grey hood liner and the products they use?
With Car Show season a few weeks away, I dont want to take any chances of losing points over something so silly.
Thanks!

I pressure wash mine with the pressure washer set to a wide fan so it doesn't damage the liner. This might sound weird but it looks great...when it is almost dry I spray it with tire foam then work the foam in with a terry towel so it spread evenly....

I just replaced mine - got it brand new for around $125.00. I'll send you the link if you're interested.

Isn't shipping really expensive for new liners?

Yup - But I have a friend that works at a dealership that hooked me with GM pricing, and I was able to pick it up.

Yeah, that's what I heard. Best to pick up at a dealership.

I will say - it got alot blacker once I sprayed it with Simple Green (before I even wiped it gently)...
Thanks!
