I made wood ramps to drive up and over my ezcarlift. Ghetto but they work. I'd like a set of race ramps but every time I look at the them I can't get past the price. lol.

I picked up a kwik lift off of Craigslist for $500... gets the car 20" off the ground... perfect for detailing or working underneath on a creeper. Like this... (not mine)

I use them for my trailer, best thing since sliced bread. I used wood ramps a couple of times but the race ramps are easier to manage, strap down to travel. The cost is the cost, but once you own them you eventually get over it and just enjoy the ease of use.

Yes. They are expensive but worth it. They are very strong, light and easy to move around and store.

I currently have race ramps. I had the home made wood ones but they're heavy and cumbersome...and even though pressure treated after many years they still attracted termites!

Race ramps are expensive but work great. If I just need to jack the car up real quick I'll use wood planks then jack.

My car isn't lowered, but even still ground clearance is limited.

I use race ramps no problem. I have the long ones so no clearance issues. I have the smaller ones in the back to lift the entire car. light and compact. pricey yes but worth it for me.

I think I have RhinoRamps from Walmart or Advance Auto and they work for me...not really expensive either.

These ramps are 67 inches long, with 10.8 degrees of incline. More than enough for a lowered vette, and they make extensions if you really need them.

Best bang for the buck I've spent so far.
For anyone that does more than the occasional wrenching, it's a godsend to have a lift of any kind.

Those lifts seem like they would block access to parts of the underside of the car. Maybe not an issue for the Corvette since everything important runs down the middle but still... Also the red one seems to stop you from getting under the middle of the car.

They have a 2 piece design. After you drive up you remove the ramp part and have full access.
