The paint on my C5 (when I got it 4 years ago) and my 09 Cayenne had swirls in the clearcoat from years of traditional washing. I used triple play and was beyond happy with the results. Once the paint restoration system came out it was that much better once again. 90% of the damage to the paint was removed and color and clarity (no, I am not a jeweler) was amazing. Now I just maintain with triple play.

Thanks guys. I'm leaning towards the Chadwicks triple play with paint correction package (that includes the porter cable and pads). It's still less than what I was quoted to have it done, plus I'll have the DA and pads. Their process certainly looks easy and shouldn't take me all day.

If you do it right it will definitely take ALL Day just correct the paint. I keep mine in near perfect shape and it still takes me 2-3 full days once a year on average. You want to be careful to remove as little clear coat as possible - once it is gone, it is gone!

Could someone enlighten me? What's Triple Play? My car has a lot of swirls that don't seem to want to come out. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks. And speaking of detailing, has anyone heard from Evil Twin lately? I thought he would be all over this. Haven't seen anything from him in at least two or three weeks.

I pulled the trigger on one of Chadwick's kits. Ordered it today, and assume it should arrive in a couple of days.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. We'll see how this goes. If I'm not happy (which I doubt) then I can try something else.

My arsenal - DA Porter cable - Chemical guy cutting pads, liquid cutting compounds and polish. I usually finish off with griots best of show wax. Been using this on the C6 Z06 and finishing up a sebring silver C5

Chadwick's Triple Play for anything that is painted on the car. If your like me, that doesn't daily drive and want to save a boatload of time with fantastic results, CTP is hard to beat. I used to be one of those guys for years that had a shelf full of various waxes, cleaners, and whatnot coming out the wazoo, spending hours upon hours getting roughly the same result as I would if my car was really dirty and cleaning it with Chadwick's for about an hour. It's really that good!! Chadwick's tire dressing is fantastic as well.

Now, I don't use Chadwick's for everything but, taking care of the paint is the biggie.

Other products I use:
1) Stoner Invisible Glass cleaner
2)Meguiar's or Armor All leather cleaner/conditioner
3) Eagle one chrome polish wadding/ Turtle wax chrome polish
4)Bleche-White tire cleaner

I only use Adam's. My C5 took first place at Corvettes at Carlisle judged show 2 years in a row, and a lot of that was due to the Adam's products. You can use with confidence
