Default This fell out, where does it go??

While removing my radiator this piece fell out but never saw where it came from. Everything is assembled now and runs fine without odd noises or vibrations. Could someone post a pic to show where it goes please.. Thank you

Dang...picture is huge, sorry bout that.

It is an insulator that keeps the coolant hose from the top of the overflow tank from rubbing up against the top radiator shroud (passenger side of car). Just slip it back in but be warned that unless you get it set just right, it will work itself loose again, and it may pop out in a more inconvenient place.

Is it common not to have this? Pretty sure mine doesn't.

Very common. Most C5's are probably missing this piece. Friction fit and falls out if you look at it the wrong way. No biggie.

I wouldn't mind having one....would CA glue it into place to keep it there.
Silly as it sound I have plans on keeping an eye out for one when I'm at Carlisle

I might suggest a little clear silicone in the groove and let it dry.

I think mine fell off BEFORE I took delivery. Never had one and no worse wear. Car is .00003 seconds faster than with!

Mine fell off a couple of times, but luckily, always in the garage.
