restoreing vert top
Ok, I used the search for about half an hour and could not come up with any thing that I wanted. I am looking for some advice on "restoring" the black canvas top color on my 2002. There is a wealth of knowledge in here and I know someone knows just the right way to do this (Selfless sucking up
} The top is in good shape, it is just faded a little and I want it to look good. So I thank you all for your knowledge in advance as i have learned a lot from all of you already.

Ya I used Ragtop also but I saw another top that was a lot "blacker" and I thought that it looked really good and thought "Hey someone here would know what product would be the best to use"

I don't think any cleaning product will darken it, excessive use of cleaners maybe one reason it's faded. I would find a local upholster and see if they can dye it? Anything that you use to 'shine' your car like tires and bumpers would make the top look darker. Kinda of like using a rubber or vinyl conditioner on an old 60's vinyl top. Try a small area of Adams VRT.
