site wrecked..my head is spinning with pop ups flashy ADVERTSING continually interrupting..i'm done I'll come back if I have to..

No need to leave. I installed a couple of free apps that make those popups go away. I'm anything but computer savvy, but installed a freebie called Ghostery and Adblock Plus that work great. There may be other programs out there as well. Spend a few minutes figuring this out and you won't have to leave.

Lots of discussions about pop-up ads in the"Help" section. They usually don't show up if you are signed in. And you can stay signed in by checking the "Remember Me" or "Stay Signed In" box (can't remember the exact label).
There are a number of popup blockers you can download to keep that crap from showing up. Just takes a little work to stop them.
As mentioned, IB gets money from the ads and IB is in business to make money from all their forums they own, not just the CF.

Good advice above. I have these two programs. Install them and see if that improves your surfing.
