That's what I was wondering too. More information would be really helpful.

Gonna run a 295/50r16 rear tire. They are 28in tall. I figured I need to run a similar height front Tire so my traction control works correctly. They make a 28x6-17 front runner. Has anyone run a tire that tall in the front? How well did it fit? Any clearance issues? Sorry for the confusion.

Im pretty sure you need the rear to be around ~1" difference not to mess with traction control. You might get a better response in the drag racing forums.

Thanks for the responses. I will post this question in the drag forum.

I've got a highly modded 98 with 28" rears and 27" fronts. I don't think you'll like 28" on the front. The 27" tires barely clear. They're not skinnies though. My fronts are 255/50/17 Nitto 555 G2s.

I just bought a used set of Z06 replicas off Craig's List. The rears are 295/35-20 which according to Nito's site shows them as 28.11 in overall diameter, the fronts are 265/35-18's, which show a 25.83 overall diameter. I haven't had an opportunity to drive it with the new setup but so far everything clears, no rubbing. I'll report back in a couple days, we're supposed to get snow, so it may be the end of next week.

Ok, took it for a short drive last weekend. The 295/35-20's rub just a touch on the passenger side... not the driver side... Only when I get after it hard or hit a bump to the direct passenger side tire. I need to do some looking but they appear to rub in a small "bump out" area on the front side of the rear passenger wheel well. I certainly am not going to say they won't fit or there is a rubbing issue at this point. I'll report back with what I find.

On a different note, I'm not sure I'm going to keep the wheels and tires. From a personal opinion standpoint, I'm not loving the large wheel thin tire appearance. But that's just me... Everyone that's seen it has complimented me on the wheel change.
