Agree! I did mine earlier in the summer and what a difference! Need to fine-tune the aiming when I get a suitable place to do it.
The great improvement with Radiofler's bi-xenons led me to replace every incandescent bulb in the car with LEDs. Not as dramatic an upgrade as the headlights, but nice.

What process did you follow to remove the HVAC and radio control bezels that allowed you to mount them directly to the main bezel?
Dash, Radio console, Steering wheel cover, Knee pad, Pillar - JF customs
Armrest , Door panels - Redline goods

I don't remember exactly I just dethreaded the area carefully and removed the center leather. The HVAC and is molded in using filler, The radio controls are a Kenwood headunit, I removed the face of the headunit and molded into the centerpiece. Then covered everything in CF vinly wrap, Then put HVAC buttons, Radio screen & buttons back on.

I had a whole thread on this a few years ago but FKing photobucked deleted everything

I feel the same way. When I think of all the work I did shortening my stock shifters on my Z and now my coupe, I could have saved a lot of time. Of course, I have the latest one, so perhaps its a blessing in disguise!

For the first 100,000 I just followed the routine maintenance schedule in the owner’s manual. Along the way there were the typically issues, I replaced the hazard switch, column lock bypass, changed out the front turning signals because they had burnt through the housing, etc. Mechanically I had issues only with the air conditioning compressor which failed twice. If it wasn’t for stray dogs in the street, I wouldn’t had to replace my nose, but life happens. At 210,000 I replaced the clutch - my mechanic still doesn’t believe me that it was the original - I just enjoy driving not racing. At that time I also changed out the differential with a 4.11. The original is still in a box and wasn’t an issue at all, I just wanted to play. The only change in the standard routine maintenance was that I changed to high mileage Mobile 1 at 100,000. Lots of tires, oil changes and two changes in plugs and wires. OH - I also changes out the seat covers around 50,000 miles - the original leather sucks.

Took the cover off and disconnected the tender, then drove it to a car show and had fun visiting and looking.

Ordered up some TSP long tubes last night.

Adding those to the pile of parts already bought for a near all at once installation of heads, cam, intake and a few other goodies.

Over the weekend, dropped the exhaust and tunnel plate and insulated the tunnel above and on the sides of the torque tube. Reinstalled the plate and insulated it and the sides of the tunnel adjacent the exhaust. Reinstalled the exhaust. No more console heat. Wow, what a difference!

I don't think most folks realize how HOT the torque tube gets! Exhaust is only part of the equation.

Actually got it out and went for a little cruise with some other ACE peeps. Went to the Dwarf Car Museum west of Maricopa. When I get a chance I'll post the video, it's an amazing place.
