Sounds like something is loose. You may need to investigate further.

Can you feel the rattle or just hear it, or both??

I just hear it. I see there are two holes in the back of the wheel. Had to use a mirror to see. Looks like there are Torx screws in there. Don't know what size. Went to the dealer, was told they don't list those screws! Even called Ecklers, they don't have either.

If you are looking to get those screws, try one of the forum used parts vendors. Bet they would have some.

so your missing those screws?? I believe they are just to hold the airbag. I forget ive had an aftermarket wheel for so long.

If those 2 screws holding down the airbag are missing or loose you should be able to grab the airbag and move it around if thats the case. The screws take a T27 or T30 torx bit. I just can't remember which.

I think after holding a mirror back there that one is missing. I can see one of them

Its a good chance that if that screw came out its still inside of the steering wheel. That missing screw may be the source of the rattle.

I bought a proper mirror tool. Both screws are in there. And I figured out they are #27 torx. Both are tight. I'm not comfortable taking it apart. So I may have to take it to the dealer or find a mechanic to do it. Thanks guys.

The easiest and simplest way is to remove the positive lead off your battery, wait about 30 minutes for the airbag to safely discharge it's charge and you can remove the torx screws and remove the airbag to see if you can find anything !
I have done it this way with no issues
