I had some pads and rotors going on and I didn't know what to do with the calipers. I was waffling between painting the calipers and cleaning them up and clear coating them. Well I went all out got some powder coated calipers from TPS Motorsports. Their Candy Red is just about a perfect match with Magnetic Red. I'm very pleased with how they look. Time will tell how durable the coating is. Seems like I would have come across some negative reviews if there were issues. The rotors and pads are from Brake Motive...lots of positive reviews on the forum the price was right. The bottom pic looks like there are some some nasty paint nics on the fender - just a bad reflection (had to run outside and check the car when I saw the pic).

Wow, that looks great! I'm glad you had the brackets done too, makes a big difference. This is one of my future projects and I was debating on whether to do the brackets and you just helped that decision.

Thanks. TPS will let you mix/match the brackets and calipers too. They arrived within 4-5 day after ordering. They were responsive to emails. Seems like a good operation.
This whole setup including rotors and brakes was about $1,700 ?
No pads and rotors were $165 (brakemotive/ebay seller) and the calipers were $360 (plus your cores) from TPS Motorsports. The calipers are OEMs rebuilt and powder coated. I was skeptical about the pads/rotors at that price but found plenty of good reviews on the forum. The rotors are zink coated so they should stay clean looking.
Very Nice! Those add a finished and professional look to your Corvette. It's amazing how a small detail will really enhance the overall image when you look at your car.
I just spray painted my calipers gloss black (car is torch red, enough red), wiping off the letters. They still look good. Also painted the barrels flat black so they never look dirty. Did this many years ago. I didn't do red also because everyone else does it.
If it would have been me...
I just would have slapped on some 'lovely' Calipers Covers, and called it a day. But it looks like you have 'taste', and took the right road.
Looks like it should!
