I am very old school and know very little about LED bulbs. If I add the hyperflash wire harness, will I still need to add the resisters to the bulbs on my 2000???

Most interior LEDs already have resistors installed in the housing. Some LED tail lights, not all, have resistors installed. A hyperfkash harness wouldn't hurt in any of those applications, but I think it's most useful for drl/turn signal LEDs.

Only when swapping the turn signals/hazard bulbs for LEDs you could end up with hyperflashing. Any other bulb can be replaced with an LED without producing hyperflashing.
When a hyperflash harness is used resistors are not needed, although sometimes they are required when LEDs are installed in the taillights to avoid setting up error code 1295.
In a C5 the turn signal and hazard functions are provided by the hazard switch. A hyperflash harness replaces the portion that handles the turn signals with a flasher that's LED friendly. Hazards will still hyperflash because that function remains untouched in the OEM hazard switch.

Thanks for the info. My turn signals are hyperflashing but the hazards work perfect. Only LED's installed so far are DRL, front turn signals and front side markers. I have the harness ordered. Will it hurt to run them as is until harness gets here????
The blinkers in almost all (all? I haven't run into one that didn't...) vehicles sold will hyperflash when a blinker bulb is out. Therefore, if an officer sees your rear right hyperflashing, he/she will assume that your front right blinker is not functioning properly and may pull you over to issue a "fix it ticket".
