At the major NCM events they have a car show where the "celebrities-those involved with the production and engineering of the corvette" select their favorite corvette of the show.
Sonny Kilgo has been the Corvette Plant Manager/engineer for the past 30 yrs and the last mbr of the Corvette Action Center-retired last yr.

hey thanks everyone!
this award meant the most to me of any car show I have done! To have someone who has seen every vette go off the assembly line the past 30 yrs pick my vette at the show is a real honor to me! Even though I couldn't stay for the awards banquet they gave me a plaque and Sonny Kilgo did a write-up of what specifics he liked about my Z06.
