2xx/30/18 Square Setup
Hello,
Was curious if anyone is running a similar square setup. My only worry was running the 30 in the rear as its circumference will be about 11% smaller than stock. I'm getting DW's and there were a lot of complaints about a soft sidewall. I thought running a lower aspect ratio would help with responsiveness, as well as lowing the car about an inch without effecting geometry. Not worried about AH as I never run with it on. Cosmetics would be a bit of a concern.
Let me know what you think as its the same price for 2xx/40/18 tires.

I run 295/30/18 square setup with no issues whatsoever, and I've driven the car pretty hard to test. You won't have an issue.
However, I did swap the front wheels with another set that had 35 or 40 series on the front just to test some noises I was hearing. Don't do that. The car was VERY unhappy. It was fighting me just to go in a straight line, then I could feel it tug a corner and the system faulted out. It wasn't an issue when I simply turned off TC/AH. So...just pay attention to what you mount on the car. Simple as that.
