Need help
I just bought my first C5 and would appreciate some assistance. It's a 2002 Black/Black Chrome, A4 vert. Where can I get the appropriate manual? Or, do I need to go to GM and order? Also, the trunk release operates, but the lid doesn't pop up far enough to get my fingers in to open and the center console doesn't latch or lock. Again, GM, or are there other sources for parts/info? Thanks!

Do a Google search "c5 corvette action center manual", there you can DL the manual for your year.
The trunk thing is crazy common, many including myself just pop the trunk then close a door with the windows up. The pressure pops the trunk lid up. Others buy an assist spring (again, Google), others lubricate the rods, others yet buy new lifts.

Congrats on the c5. Someone on here sells the spring to get your trunk lid to pop open higher. That's all you need, or you can actually go down to the home supply store and get the parts. Just a spring and washer. What manual are you looking for? If it's an owners manual, try fleabay. A factory service and parts manual is pretty expensive.

Lube the lock assembly for trunk lock/release. WD40 is your friend. This will fix the issue. Also as mentioned the console cover hinges love the same treatment. Most of all have fun with your new baby. Wishing you many happy miles/smiles!!! Rob
