Default 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 headers ?

I want to purchase a set of headers for my 03 z06, I plan to eventually do a mild cam and heads or possibly super charger. I'm asking for suggestions on header size.

mild heads/cam - 1 3/4
supercharger or bigger cubes - 1 7/8

the fact that you are even considering a supercharger I would just go with the 1 7/8 personally

If I have nice heads and nice aftermarket cam, could I use 2 inches like the c6 Z06 option?

Your question may as well have been "more power or less power?"

Who's going to say less power. I've never seen 1 3/4 out perform 1 7/8 in the LS family.

1 7/8. I'm kicking myself from long ago not doing this. Now I have a stroker with 1 3/4 headers and that would have been nice with the extra ponies gained.
