Default C6Z wheels on a C5

Hello folks,
I've been away from the forum for some time and have recently purchased a 99 NB MN6 w/ 47miles on the clock.
So I'm back in the saddle again.
The car currently has the stock wagon wheels and I will soon be replacing them. Is anyone running the stock C6Z setup on their C5 Coupe?
If so, can you chime in and tell me the pros/cons and post pics if you have any? There is a fellow selling a set of them at a decent price and wanted some inputs prior to moving forward.
Thanks,
cat

I have them. Need or might not need spacers in the back. Do some looking around and there are a few threads with pics.

I've been running a C6Z setup for almost two years. I have the spyders. Have had no issues. Have had it on the track several times this way even. Lots of highway.

I never understood having a garage and cars outside, no matter what kind.

I had tile saws going inside. Normally the cars are in. The storm came at a bad time. In the middle of building a shower.

As you can see in the pics the vette lives in a lovely garage.

They will stick out bout an inch.
Your car will always be a 4X4, since you can't lower it (cause the tires stick out)!
Solve this problem by buying proper sized wheels/tires.

^They stick out a little but they don't look bad to me. I could live with that.

Do they rub the inner fenders and do the tires sling trash on the body?
