You are going to get a lot of different opinions on this topic. I use Turtle Wax Ice on my car, but there are many very good products out there.

I can only speak to what works on a 2001
If you have time - Zaino
If you want the least labor intensive with great results - Chadwick's.
Surface prep will determine how effective either will be.

i'm really going to have to look into this chadwicks stuff, lots of you seem to like it.
to do list for my car is remove body side mouldings, serious wash/clay/compound/touch up chips and then i'll probably be using that stuff most often.

Best C5 Wax
The best method is to take rubbing compound and remove all of the crime in the paint. Then apply two or three coats of polish. That will give the glossy appearance after the polish apply the wax two or three coats. In my opinion Mother's is great

I've used a lot of different waxes with good results, currently the wax and detailer sold by Harley Shops (used to work there). When you get to the chips you might want to look into "Dr Colorchip". Terrific product IMO, once you get the hang of it (not hard) you get a virtually invisible repair. One paint kit goes a long way for just little money. I use it on my black C5 with great results. Good luck!
