I know it is time for a new top. I have a 2000 torch red vette. I know I read years ago about the different material tops are made of and cannot remember what I read. Living in Bullhead AZ. with the heat and sun here which material would be best? I talked to an installer yesterday and he started asking all these questions, do I want cloth, sail cloth, or vinyl. I did not know how to answer. so looking for a little advise and help. thanks
Mine had an EZ-On from the factory. It lasted 12 years. That's what I replaced it with.
I went with vinyl rather than cloth since my car lives outside. Vinyl is easier to keep clean. I'm very pleased with my new top. Installed it myself. Not a job for the faint hearted.
