Stickers, like the JDM guys do it? I'd like to see someone try that, i think if done right it would look good IMO. Hey, if Porsche guys do it, why not vettes???
Technically the Porsche you posted was designed by a Japanese guy.
I do not have any stickers OR decals on my C5 and couldn't bring myself to do it. Even on the inside. Just wondered how others felt.
Even if I was driving a 72' Pinto there would be no bumper stickers on it but I have seen other people's cars just covered.
I like the tattoo analogy. I also grew up loving fast cars, chasing skirts, loud tunes, beer parties, and rock concerts, but I do not like tatoos on a woman, a tramp stamp is what I call them or much adornment of the like on my car. I always got a kick at the guys who would put Alpine, Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate, decals all over their car. That is like advertising "please break in and take all my chit!" LOL.
Just like those windshield banners that some people paste on their cars denoting the name of the car..........
CORVETTE
This is so that you don't forget what kind of car you drive as you approach it in a crowded parking lot.....
Shakey
I have one of them on my windshield. It was there when I purchased the car. I had every intention of removing it after buying the car....That was 8 or 9 years ago and its still there...lol...For some reason, I don't even notice it....
A Competition Cams sticker is good for about 25HP
A Summit Racing sticker is only good for about 5hp
A Mobile 1 sticker doesn't add any but keeps the injectors from gumming up.
Personally, I don't even like the factory badges so I took them off. Now no one can tell it is a Corvette.
I would say if you think tattoos enhance the look of a beautiful woman, then you will probably like decals on your Corvette.
yes and and more than likely the owners face looks like it got in a fight with a fishing tackle box and lost lol
some people don't value class like others. It's a corvette not a corrola

Its really comes down to what ever trips your trigger. Personally, for me, I prefer cars clean and simple. Track cars are an exception, sponsor names and all that. I have occasionally, in the past, placed a small club decal in the lower passenger side corner of the windshield, but thats as far as I've ever gone with the decal/stick on/glue on or whatever else doodads that folks come up with. If the doodads make you happy, then you need to go for it. Being an individual and making your ride your own is a huge part of the car hobby. Take care!
I mod my car the way I like it and don't really care if it pleases everyone - which includes any decals/stickers on the car. I can't say I like every car that has decal/stickers, but I'm not the one paying for the car either so whatever they do they have to live with it.
I don't put anything on my paint other than racing numbers for the weekend. I have an SCCA decal on my window along with the layouts of the tracks I have run.
